Senior Engineer Wind Turbine Control (Y-077)

YOUR TASKS:

1. New and further development of control technology functions in the area of operational control of the wind turbine;
2. Technical clarification and creation of software specifications;
3. Implementation of software functions according to the requirements on a programmable logic controller (PLC);
4. Definition of test and acceptance criteria for the qualification of the wind turbine software;
5. Quality assurance through software tests on the HiL setup in the software laboratory and on site at the wind turbine;
6. Creation of the related software documentation;
7. Close cooperation with various departments in an international environment.

YOUR PROFILE:

1. Successfully completed technical degree in electrical engineering, automation technology or comparable qualification;
2. Professional experience in PLC software development according to IEC desirable;
3. Experiences in defining requirements for software functions are required;
4. Good knowledge of different communication protocols (e.g. Profinet, Modbus TCP) is required;
5. Good knowledge of MS-Office and especially MS-Access;
6. Knowledge in the use of Matlab/SIMULINK is preferable;
7. Experiences in the agile software development according to SCRUM are preferable;
8. Fluent English;
9. High results orientation and quality awareness;
10. Initiative as well as responsible, structured and sustainable way of working;
11. Teamwork and communication skills.
