We are looking for a talented and motivated On-Site Support Engineer to join a local IT Service Desk Team and support a strategic network project in various sites throughout both Spain and Portugal. As an On-Site Support Engineer at Eurofins, you will: Identify and manage Severity 1 tickets end-to-end, as well as alerts on major/recurring incidents; Manage L1 and L2 tickets by solving locally or transferring to dedicated queues; Manage IT and Application requests opened by sites; Ensure the support of site openings and major works; Maintain follow-up/recurring audit of main equipment and communicate alerts; Capture site-specific requests and initiate necessary actions to get validation of the central IT; Execute and contribute to scheduled maintenance operations, in coordination with the IT manager or correspondent; Ensure productivity gain by decreasing tickets/requests volumes, leading to a good level of user satisfaction; Provide improvement to Support processes to reduce resolution lead-times; Execute, participate and report on IT & Application project rollout; Provide, install and/ordeliver hardware and software; Provide user/site localassistance to the deployment; Ensure post-deployment support and reporting. Qualifications Are you our kind of extraordinary? Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience; The below technical knowledge is highly desirable : Network & Telecom: WAN MPLS, LAN/WLAN/IPT; Windows client, Smartphones and Tablets; O365 full suite with experience in Enterprise Social Media. Strong interpersonal communication skills is essential; Strong focus on objectives and user satisfaction is key; Ability to show leadership and autonomy, with good reporting skills; Previous experience supporting internal client and operations is ideal; Previous experience in a laboratory environment is an advantage; Willingness to travel in Spain & Portugal between 10 to 20% of working time; Strong English & Spanish communication skills (written/oral) required.
